"Important Correction"： "Track & Protect" your mobile phone 紛失携帯のリモート操作【訂正】 #Symbian
After having lost my beloved E71, I've tried the latest Phone Guardian
3.1 and Track & Protect. After 5 days trial, I just selected "Track &
Protect", which is a very handy app & web service for Symbian phones.
The app is a free download. The setup is simple and straightforward.
5 credits for remote commands are given to a new account.
The screen capture shows my actual trial of locating my phone. Also,
the remote photo capture from the front camera on the phone worked
nicely.
I've set up separate account for my Hong Kong SIM and China SIM so
that I don't have to temporary disable the security function.

愛用していたE71を中国で紛失したこともあり、携帯に残っているデータを遠隔削除するアプリと試用してみた。Phone Guardian 3.1も素晴らしいアプリなものの、Track&ProtectはアプリがフリーでWebサイトから５回分までの端末リモート操作が無償でできること、SIMを入れ替えられた後でも遠隔操作できる点が気に入った。Symbian端末には是非入れておくべきアプリ。
上記Webサイトへ端末からアクセスしてアプリをダウンロード＆インストールしたら、メニューに従って電話番号やパスワードを入力してゆくとSMSとメールが送られて登録が完了する。リモート操作を試すには、Webサイトへ行って電話番号とパスワードを入力すれば自分のアカウントから端末端末操作できる。スクリーンショットは実際にGet
locationで端末の位置情報をゲットした模様。香港SIMと中国SIMの入れ替えが不可欠な自分の場合、SlM每に別ア力ウントを作った。
